Arrington gave up 2 passes yesterday; 1 in zone coverage (for 31 yards), 1 in man coverage (for 13 yards). The 31 yard play looked like a blown coverage or a miscommunication because of how open the WR was (but you can never tell for sure). He also had a nice breakup on a Lee Evans pass in the...
I think i've worked out a scenario in which the pats play the Jets. I don't feel 100% on it though.
PIT NEED to beat MIA
CLE NEED to beat JAX
NYJ NEED to beat CIN
HOU NEED to beat NE
IND NEED to beat BUF
KC NEED to beat DEN
BAL NEED to beat OAK
GB NEED to beat ARI
Only one of these teams can...
Yes, but how often do the Patriots play cover 1? Even if they did, do they do it regularly enough to validate his [NEInsider] claims?
It's a matter of opinion. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a CB better at diagnosing plays, general field awareness (and baiting QBs) than Samuel.
I loved that quote :D
The FS's job is not to run to the CB that needs the most help. He plays the deep middle zone. Think about it - each offensive route is created to layer a defense and each try to expose each zone. If a player who covers the deep center zone runs to the sideline, don't...
Weighing in on the 3-5-3 formation; The reason you won't find it in any press notes is because people with press passes can't comment on formations the patriots run in training camp. I have seen it quite a bit in games and it'll be interesting to see if Belichick does use it in regular season...

hit play on that vid (and bookmark it). Free NFL Network. They haven't taken down the live feed since Strahan's retirement press conference. It's not even illegal.
;)

Coheed&Cambria=Aqua??????
LOOOOOOL:D:D:D:D I think this ends my participation in this thread. Comprehending his rubbish must be some form of a deranged paradox.
congratulations captain obvious. But i have been reading this board long before i signed up, as have many people. In fact, the only reason i signed up is because i saw one of my articles posted on here from another site. So i was here, just not signed up.
I think everyone enjoyed his stupid...
Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Vince Wilfork, AD, Bill Belichick and the easiest schedule in the NFL...yep, i can see where he's coming from:confused:
Any time you hear that a player has run faster than a 4.2, it's 99% guaranteed to be BS. There are loads of rumors with Bo Jackson, but none have ever been confirmed. It would be very, very interesting to see what time Holliday would put up at a combine, though.
I like Trent Edwards for some reason, i think he'll turn out to be a pretty good quarterback. The talent is there, it's a case of coaching (Is Fairchild still calling the plays?)
Has to be the dolphins. The Bills are just too talented, so it becomes a race between the Jets and Dolphins. Unfortunately, i don't think the Jets can even claim to be the best at being bad, so it'll be the Dolphins.
I would love to bring him back. Seeing as we run cover 3/cover 4 "pattern match" schemes, Ty Law was (and still is) absolutely perfect for it. It's not speed we need at CB - it's football intelligence and awareness.
hmm...this game seems interesting. I made an account with your referral a while ago, but i never got around to posting on here.
Basically, my friend promised me he would be buying a team soon, but he always seems to say 'next week'. So now i'm seeking another team.
I'm a level 3 QB by the...
fantastic work on the website guys. Simply wonderful. I showed it to some people i know (big supporters of the asterisk club) and all they could say is "you can't sugarcoat it, cheating is cheating". Thanks to you, they've finally shut up.
As for a suggestion, an FAQ would be helpful. Typical...
