Re: OWNERS might opt out of CBA...
Looks like Ralph Wilson isn't as senile as previously thought seeing how he was ridiculed for voting against it in the first place.
I agree with you both. Traditionally, the Dolphins have been the Bills chief rival, but in my mind and the minds of most Bills fans, the Patriots are the game that we look forward to the most. To me, it just feels like a better rivalry... a newer rivalry.
I, obviously, think Buffalo is going to the playoffs this season. Not only that, but I think Buffalo will win at least one game vs the Patriots this season. The only X-Factor is the new QB and the new OC, but I have confidence in them both.
Great insightful post man! You are a credit to your fellow Pats fans!
Don't get your hopes up for Webster... trust me, the guy is garbage. In TC last year, he was getting beat left and right by the likes of Josh Reed and Peerless Price. He looked confused consistently, and nothing changed game...
You lost the Superbowl, you lost those six guys, and you say you're not worried this season? That you're going to be better? OK... but I guarantee you will miss Asante. "Overrated pro bowl CBs" don't grow on trees, as the Bills learned with Nate Clemens.
The funny part is, he is the one who...
They are done with JP... he is no more than a backup. Edwards shows a lot of promise, and if he can stay healthy he will be a solid starter. The addition of James Hardy in the second round can't hurt either. He is the big WR the Bills desperately needed. Hardy will make both Edwards and Lee...
Past performance is not indicative of future results.
That is a true statement. I just wonder how long you can keep losing players before it starts to catch up with you... it's foolish to think it can go on forever.
That Pats will always be good as long as they have Brady, but I still think the division is ours in 2009.
Who is talking about the past? Let's look to the future... the Bills are in much better shape for the future than the Patriots. We are one of the youngest teams, you are one of the oldest...
Keep holding on to the past, oldskool138... because soon the only thing you'll have left to hold on to are the memories of a dynasty that used to be great.
The Bills rank higher on the Pats hypothetical "concerned list" than the Jets or Miami right now, so the SI statement is a fair one. Your "dynasty" is on the downswing. It was a great run, but all good things must come to an end. We are a team to watch, and you should be thankful Belichick is...
He was right to ignore that fact.:D I'm still trying to forget...
But to the topic of the thread, I think the Pats will be slightly worse on offense this year. It'll be hard to top the kind of points they put up this past year.
Spikes will come to NE over San Fran all day long. Why? He is desperate to get into the playoffs, because he has never played a playoff game in his career. I wonder if that makes him bad luck?
The real bombshell from this interview that no one mentions: The NFL is trying to dissuade Walsh from coming forward, and Specter has seen letters from the NFL saying so.
If this is true, it's horrible for the league and makes Roger Goodell look like a hypocrite. That's what Specter was...
I almost didn't know it was you, without...............all................of..........the...........periods...............
The name calling and the misspelling gave it away though.
They are going to draft with the first 2 picks, WR and CB. Sweed/Kelly and best available CB..... or Cromartie and Hardy. Either way, another good draft and I think it's fixed.
Trust me, Jason Webster won't even make your team. In Bills training camp, he constantly got burned by scrubs, and always looked confused while it was happening. Not a BB kinda guy.
A division title would be a dream come true! But unless the Pats have the worst collapse/superbowl hangover in...
