The last time I went to a game in Foxborough, I was mugged. It was in 2006 - when the Jaguars played there in a playoff game. I thought it was an aberration. I determined at that point I would never return.
Then I saw that the same occurred this year, with a Boston resident and his...
I had a point when I started this thread. It had some thing to do with some of the comments before this. I just noticed that you wrote us off. That may happen. We could get killed, but then again the Jaguars are still alive.
Until the Patriots trounce the Jaguars (as you all expect), I had...
The Pats are too good to cheat on the outcome of a game. 16-0 is no fluke, the Pats are that good.
I just do not understand why BB thought it necessary to break the NFL rules. Would someone please explain that to me.
Apparently not. There is NO respect on this board for the Jags, nor on any national board. We have no chance, according to you and the media.
We will show up and we will play. We may very well lose, but we are there.
Anything can happen. We have nothing to loose. You do.
Actually, we consider both Fred Taylor and MJD to be studs. We believe Garrard has that potential, just not there yet.
Also, look out for John Henderson if he is able to play. He's iffy with a hamstring.
You won't get any trolling from me. I think the Pats have a terrific team. I was just trying to respond to what appeared to be a sincere inquiry for thoughts from a Jaguar fan.
I'll try to provide a short overview:
1. Team
As you know, the Jags run the ball well. This is keyed by a large OL and primarily carried out by Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew. Greg Jones (FB) is also one heck of a blocker. The Jags also stop the run well. This is somewhat surprising...
We (Jaguar fans) are mostly at http://jaguars.com. There are some other sites, but they are little used in comparison. Like most sites, if you come in peace, you will be mostly well treated. As everywhere, there are a few flamers who may not respond in kind.
If you come to troll, you...
As a Jaguar fan, I agree that if the Jags play like they did against the Steelers for most of the 4th quarter, it's all over. I believe Del Rio will make that point again, and again, and..... In the end, however, they did get it together enough to win.
I look forward to a good game this...
As another Jaguar fan, I also hope for a good game. At least, I hope it's closer than 2006.
Maurice was raised by his grand parents. When his grand father died, he added the "Jones" in his memory. When drafted, he told the Jaguars they could remove the "Jones" if they desired, but the...
If we (Jaguars) do play the Steelers (if seeds 3 and 4 do not change) and do get past them, you will not see the same team you saw in 2005. There have been signifcant changes on offense, not the least of which is QB. Among other things, Jones-Drew (as noted), different TEs, different OL...
