Guys, it doesn't matter if you think the penalty caused the return or not. The fact is, 1 out of 92 kickoffs were returned for TDs. That, alone, says that it was a fluke and in all probability won't happen again. The fluky-ness is merely enhanced by the fact it was a strange kickoff.
Hey man, sorry, but this is a patriots-joke thread. You weren't here for our Maroney-bashing phase earlier.
In short, some vocal minorities thought that all of our recent draftees (CJ, Maroney) were made of glass because they were injured all the time. It's not charger-hate.
Rodney will be fine against a hobbled Gates. Unless Gates pulls a bloody sock with his foot injury, he'll still be hobbled, and check out Rodney vs:
Dallas Clark: 2 rec for 15 yds
Jason Witten: 3 rec for 47 yds
First off, good analysis on the NTs. Now, to defend my boy-
Things of note about the Losman hit:
1) Being tackled from behind
2) Cannot fall on your hands (350 + tackler = broken wrists)
3) Can't see out of your facemask at that angle
4) Split-second timing of the play
5) Losman admitting he...
Great points, and I believe most of Pats nation would agree. There are slight differences between steroid busts and filming regulations, but I don't particularly care to argue- we were both caught (as was rodney for hgh, of course).
See you in the analysis threads, I hope!
Thanks, PFIA and AJ. AJ, I agree, and this is why Moss is so important. He is also the one out on obvious run plays when they only put out one reciever, because the defense just can't cheat with him. If they do, Brady'll audible and they will get burned.
Good analysis. I haven't grabbed a recording to analyze yet, but I am curious how much coverage you saw on Moss. I wish we had gametape to tell for sure, but usually you can piece it together. Did they permanently keep the safeties deep for him?
I did notice what you were talking about with...
Yes. Stadium personnel may give you a hard time if you're bringing in the latest professional HD Canon digicam, however.
Game tape is two overhead views at the top of every stadium- completely different than any private video for sign-stealing.
My understanding of this matter is the same...
I don't think this is such a big deal, but you shouldn't be making such baseless accusations. I can't even *find* Tom Brady's personal website (hint: he doesn't have one). How about Randy Moss? Surely that egomaniac, classless fool can match LT's comments?
"Explosive, playmaking wide receiver...
That sound was extremely annoying- I was shocked that the network didn't take care of it.
And yes, feed problems happen all the time, and it DID happen in one game for the Pats, too. I do not think we have uncovered a conspiracy.
