Well, let me just say that if I came across harsh, I apologize. I didnt get the warmest of welcomes and got on the defensive rather quickly, and maybe deservedly so, for that I am sorry. I hate when people come to our board and trash it, and that is really the last thing I wanted to do here. So...
I read something recently about the contract for the audio/video system, I knew it was high tech, but wasnt sure about size, I just remember its going to be HD which is way better than the jumbo tron. 60 yards? that seems like it would be a distraction.
I can appreciate that. I have similar feelings about the Patriots, but I do respect them. Fact is, they are really the only team I get anxious about playing. But that aside, I tink two opposing teams fan bases can discuss things without ripping one another to shreads, which unfortunately, is all...
Oh, I agree, really I was just taking a poke at the move and not so much the distance. And I realize you said you could be in Ct. in 5 minutes, but my point was the drive from Boston. Sorry for the confusion....
Yeah, I wasnt sure about the details around it, I have family there, and they were kind of excited about the 'talk' of the Patriots coming to town. My comment was really just meant in jest, nothing more.
OK, I am getting your drift. Its completely acceptable for a Pats fan posting on here to insult people and call them names, but its not ok for a person to defend themselves? Sounds fair.
yeah, well, you will also notice that you have had something infantile and moronic to say about everything I post, including my second one. The only threads that I've trashed are the ones you follow up with some lame brain frozen knuckle headed reponse the you've posted.....ok 'chief'?
So are going to pile on too? That seams to be the MO here and thats fine, but this is a public forum. I didnt say anything out of line in the thread until I got piled on. whatever makes you feel like a big boy I guess.
Thanks, I appreciate the hospitality. Let me just say this. I dont post anywhere else but Colts Forum, so I dont know what you're talking about. The only thing I know is that you guys jump all over anyone here who isnt a Pats fan. I came on here a couple months ago to talk football, and have...
LOL....so you are telling me that you can be in Hartford Ct. from Foxboro in 2 minutes? I may live in the south, but I am not from the South. I spent many of my younger years in Manchester Ct. and am VERY familiar with how NE works....hence the reason I no longer live there. You make me laugh...
Game control is a nice theory, but if your run game is stifled, you lose that. The only way to beat the Patriots is to play 60 minutes. All other teams have quit in the last quarter, and that's what killed them. Get up early, and dont quit.
From what I am told, the roof is mainly for the other functions held in the current dome i.e. NCAA Final Four, Expos, etc. The overall concencus is that unless there is life threatening weather, the roof WILL stay open for football. Not sure if that is set in stone, but thats what I have heard...
yeah, but a move nontheless. I think of Pats as a Boston team more than a NE team and I am sure it would not have sat well with the locals. What is that a 2 hour drive?
I havent been here long, but long enough to realize that whenever Double G loosens the strap on his helmet, wipes the slober away, and finds a Colts post on here, it tends to take those turns rather quickly.
I think it has more to do with a Colt receiving the award than anything. Which I can appreciate. Heck, if Roidney got it, or Vrabel, I would have said the same thing. Fact is, much like league MVP, it is all based on what that individual did to help HIS team, has little to do with stats and...
