Even if NE had won this SB and then the next one, you could not call 2001-2014 a dynasty. There are a grand total of two players on the team that were on the roster in 2004. Dynasties are the same core of players.
NE has been very good for the past 12 season. But it is not the same team...
Re: JEST/Texans: who are you rooting for?
Math Test for you:
(A) Count up all Patriots fans are rooting for the Jets tonight?
(B) Count up all Red Sox fans are rooting for the Yankees to win the World Series?
C) Add (A) and (B) together.

The purpose of this thread was light-hearted humor at WW's very limited role week 1 and 2, not a knock on JE.
Keep in mind I also found humor in "Brady" being Cassel's back up.
I agree with the OP and disgree with those who say we should have punted.
But the OP left out the number one reason why. Punting is always a high risk. The percentage of punts returned for a TD is much higher than the percentage of offensive plays that results in a defensive TD.
Brady...
I know we were all worried when JE went down with an injury. But wow his back up has really step in and done a great job. I tell you that Wes kid is pretty good.
While I didn't cheer for the injury at the time. I do support inducting Mo Lewis into the Pat's Hall of Fame as an honorary member for his contribution to the team.
The bad news : Edelman is out.
The good news: His back up Wes Welker did a pretty good job last week. I tell you that kid, Wes has some potential, I was impressed how easily he stepped up to the plate last week when Edelman was out. :)
Not only that.... they are very patedically predictable on 4 and long. If Mesko is in it is almost always a punt and if Gostkowski is in it is almost always a FG attempt.
This article is a joke. Are they really suppose to run the ball on 3rd and 15 just to be unpredictable?
It is the "HALL OF FAME" not the "Hall of Good."
Some one who lost his job to a 6th round pick, then to J.P. Loseman and then to a UDFA, isn't HOF worthy.
Bledsoe isn't getting in ever. He went 0-2 with a team that his back up was able to take to a superbowl. He then did crap in Buffalo.
Kraft may evenutally get in but not until long after Rooney. Kraft hasn't really done anything to significantly help the league. He does deserve to the...
Re: Belichick Era (so far) - Who was the best player to have played just 1 season he
Matt Cassel. He played here only one season. And he certainly made the most of that one season.
I take zero responsibility for my poor showing in this contest. I did *my* job by predicted the right score, the players just aren't doing *their* job and excuting to make it come thru.
