In my humble opinion, this is without question the weakest AFC field in years. Beyond a decade, roughly. Not to knock our own team, or the presence of the greatest QB of his era, but a team with the worst statistical D in the league is #1? And a team led by Joe Flacco, 2?? The Steelers are...
Providing any Joe Shmoe access to the all-22 would basically render NFL television analysts useless. Because face it, so many of those guys are basically dumb, whose only real advantage is THEY have access to that film. If we're all able to view it, who on earth would ever listen to dummies...
Re: OT: Steelers or Ravens - Which team winning would be more beneficial for the Pats
Yeah, that's not happening. Buffalo runs the ball, and the Jets dont stop the run. Throw in their respective home and road records, and this is a Buffalo win waiting to happen. Too much turnover and...
Re: OT: Steelers or Ravens - Which team winning would be more beneficial for the Pats
We're definitely pulling for Baltimore here. And the Bengals are a fraud...an average team w/ 1 quality win, still yet to even play the Ravens or Steelers. They'll fade like previously noted.
You werent specific. Bill Belichick the coach should have his butt firmly cemented on this team's coaching throne 'til the day he dies. Bill Belichick the GM needs to be fired YESTERDAY. For that reason, for the first time ever, Im willing to vote, "Yes" to one of these silly polls about how...
THIS.
I feel no need to bash Kevin Faulk, one of my all time favorite Pats, on a day when every other aspect of this team was pretty much sucking, but WHY is he coming back for the Steelers on the road for his 1st action since the ACL??? Why? Love the guy. Absolutely love him. He's 35...
Overall, making change to improve a statistically pathetically ranked D does sound logical. With that, I do agree. This combination of moves two days before the Steelers game does NOT make me happy, however. No, sir. No sir, it doesnt.
Exactly. We cant ever compare specific units of this D today w/ any of those from the Superbowl years, because the total packages are nothing at all alike. As you said, those teams were stacked w/ players and leaders throughout. This D is in search of answers at just about every level.
Dont get comfortable, randomk1. You'll no doubt be cut the day after tomorrow. But to then subsequently encourage you, dont get down, because you'll likely be re-signed by Wednesday.
Wide receiver and cornerback are positions that require swagger. In alot of cases, it seems almost mandatory that the player not only possess an overabundance of confidence, but that they display that overabundance. Neither of which are really encouraged here with our team. Guys basically...
In all my years as a Pats fan, its tough to think of a stranger feeling than knowing with our passing D ranked DEAD LAST in the NFL, we cut one cornerback, and IR his replacement a day later. Id love to somehow make sense of this. But I'll think all night on this and come up with nothing...
I cant believe Houston is being given any respect. By default because Manning's done. I dont care what they've done so far thru FOUR games, but they still have Matt Shaub as a QB, and he'll still fold like a tent under at the first sight of pressure.
Im feelin' your pain, rob. These are indeed sad and strange times. But youve gotta know youre talking about alot of heartless and gutless punks that frankly arent worth getting too heated over. Its all good. There will be other days. And this team will indeed win again. Imagine that.
Re: No Haynesworth or Price for tom...
So, youve got this sig, this credo here "We gonna take this one game at a time".....which is supposed to actually mean something. Yet, TWO stinkin' games into a season, youre writing a guy off. FOURTEEN games left in a season, and youre scratchin'...
You cant seriously think this is a HUGE distraction to this team. If you honestly think that, you havent been following this team very long. Its a 2 or 3 day distraction. It'll trickle into the weekend. And Ochocinco will either get it and be prepared to step his total game up or he'll be...
As much as I love Welker's game and everything he brings to the club, Im sure I still under appreciate the guy. This thread should be about 19 pages long, but it wont. It'll be 4 or 5. Because Welker himself would want it that way.
