Attleboro area checking in- we're in the backyard....

It's nice to be able to roll out of bed at a reasonable hour on game days. No long drives to the stadium for us! :D

Ernie Adams on ESPN Front Page

This is one of the most amazing stories I have ever read. I was born a Pats fan and think I follow this team pretty closely - but I'll admit I've never heard of the man. I also sheepishly admit I have not read Halberstam's book as well. Guess I'm not as up to date with the team as I thought....:(

Ben Watson - 'The Early Years' - Nice look at our TEs childhood

I LOVE Angry Bills Guy! Best pic I've ever seen posted here. Let's hope he's joined by his twin brother whom he was separated from at birth - Angry Giants Guy - on Monday.

Junior Seau on Howard Stern now

Wow - 7 pages of back and forth Howard Stern the Monday before the Super Bowl. Can you feel the love? I joined the board in October so I don't have a point of reference to refer to....but if this is the way you guys are acting now, I can't wait for the off-season fireworks!! :D

Junior Seau on Howard Stern now

Just caught the last two minutes...will have to listen to the reply. Takes guts going on that show given they are all Giants fans. The last caller before they wrapped up was a Chargers fan who told Junior he can't stand the Pats and wishes they lose. Junior was gracious in his reply naturally.

OT: Al Davis drafts resignation letter for Lane Kiffin

Dennis Green - are you kidding me?? At least he is who we think he is (bad, I know....) As an aside, I saw Al walking through the NFL Experience in N.O. back in 1997. The first comment to my buddy was how decrepit he looked. That was 11 years ago! I cannot imagine he can even prop himself...

    Breaking News Drew Bledsoe--

I'd rather have Doug than Drew.

The Line In Vegas Is Steady Dropping!

I'm sure a quick Google search will take me to the right site, but since I'm at work and any site associated with gambling would probably be blocked, can anyone tell me what the over/under is?

    Is 18-1 a successful season?

    N (10 characters) 0!!!!!!!

Are the Patriots the Cowboys of the Mid 90s?

Comparing us to the Cowboys in any way, shape or form makes me want to puke!!!!! Don't ever EVER do it again! :D (yes, I hate that team more than any other)

    for the 'old' Pats Fans

LL, in my opinion this thread is for your generation to absorb. You guys have been spoiled with this team and I am happy to see you appreciate the comments from the older folks. It's been a long bumpy ride, but not only have we turned the corner, we're in the elite now. In addition, I...

    Decision: New jersey

I'm in the market for my first jersey. I've got plenty of sweatshirts and T's but thought a jersey would be a nice addition. Naturally, my wife said get a Brady, but I dunno....my body type says someone else. At 5'10" and 220+, I think Welker, Moss and any other height proportioned to...

No banners for 85 or 96?

No way. Super Bowl banners only please. It's all that matters. There was a Steelers tool in here either earlier this week or last week who's sig contained all their playoff appearances. It looked ridiculous.

    for the 'old' Pats Fans

IPP - we're going on #4 and I am still in shock. There were many many dry years around here, but we stuck with them. I remember my Dad fiddling with the antenna on the roof of our house just outside of Providence for the home games back in the 70's. There was a station in Hartford that was...

Where will you watch Super Bowl XLII?

At home with my wife and two little girls - ages 5 and 2.5 - in their Pats outfits (no pink thank you) The 5 year old is absolutely nuts for Brady. Come to think of it, the wife is too.....

Any "fans" going to this game needing to be told to get it up may as well feed their tickets into the shredder.

Going to the Game? Tips on Staying Warm

In fact, the rain you had for the Tenn game was worse than this game is going to be. I'd go in shorts if I were you.

    Luck and the NFL

Regarding Bledsoe, given how he was playing I think they would have come to the conclusion that Brady was worth a shot in spite of the huge contract....but probably during the 02 season. In fact, had Bledsoe not gone down in 01, it very well may have been a controversy during training camp in 02.
