the questions in that category were tongue-in-cheek to begin with. and since that was the theme of that category, strict accuracy fell by the wayside, but im sure most sports fans still knew the answer.
rehashing what belichick did or what the clock read a year ago isnt going to get anyone...
id like to see sproles on the team too, but it doesnt make sense financially... especially if Cassel signs the potential franchise tender. Sproles will be looking for a hefty paycheck, not top tier, but pretty high. we've proven that we can plug people into the position and get solid...
On the surface it seems like a good idea to lay off, but if you do that, then people won't know what to do/where to post during the regular season. If there's a rule, enforce it all the time, not just some of the time, otherwise it's not much of a rule at all. Plus, if it wasn't enforced at...
Re: Detroit asks to speak to Josh McDaniel
No, because eventually someone will (ask to) talk to Josh McDaniel... and considering all the recent coaching changes it should come as no real surprise. Albeit, two of those firings were former Belichick disciples (was Judas a disciple, sorry not...
it was a botched call, no doubt... although i dont like the chargers and was happy for cutler.
as for ed hochuli... i love him as a referree. in my mind he is the best if not, definitely near the top and it's too bad he;ll pay the price for blowing the call. no ones perfect, but there are...
i think we all hope he does well sunday and the rest of the season for that matter. he will no doubt be under substantial scrutiny... which is unfortunate, but like he said: it is what it is.
i live with a jets fan... he hasnt been too bad, but he smirks sometimes and i want to kick him in the teeth, and he's a good friend, even if he is--as i said--a jets fan.
i dont think that many people on this board are just the kind of casual fans that would give up on the pats so easily. theyre still a damn good team, its just that the expectations have been so high since brady took the helm that many people fear a return of the patsies. i dont think that will...
Just a general question about the game: my player is an OLB and we're playing a team that runs to one side alot it seems. I've shifted my advanced tactics to focus on the run... does anyone have experience with doing this and knows if its detrimental/beneficial?
I guess if you drop players or lose players (even CPU players) chemistry goes down for whatever side of the ball they play on and overall.
(usually about 2 points per player lost)
Is it worth sticking around in the D-Leagues to boost your skills? I mean I'm only a lvl 2 LB, so joining a human team probably wouldn't fair well for either side, I would imagine.
Just joined because it seemed pretty popular among people on this board over the past month. However, I already joined a Developmental CPU league because I was stupid and did not read after the link in post 1. Though I assume that many teams have already stocked up so my player can bake in the...
I think Goodell's done a good job thus far. Sure, the situation with the Patriots is unfortunate, but he handled it in the manner it ought to have been handled.
With matters outside the Patriots (i.e. Pacman, Vick, etc) he put forth proper punishments to maintain the standard that athletes...
