Yup this whole argument doesnt even matter, shouldnt be called on a tipped pass. The Pats could have challenged the call if someone in the replay booth had noticed.
Did anyone see the PI call on the Bills final drive, where it looked like the defense stopped them for a 3 and out? I never got to see a replay of it, anyone have any video?
Re: Pro Football Focus is pretty funny.
Offensive Player of the Year.
I'm dumbfounded. Peyton Manning is even mentioned as 'in the mix' and Brady is not. I have to think it was some kind of clerical error. Right? Right??
I also like how you have to pay to be a member and comment on...
I dont listen to this guy often, but when I was driving through NY the Friday before the Pats/Jets game, he would not shut up about how the Jets were the better team, more talented, etc etc and he definitely said they should win. Seems a bit hypocritical.
Re: Belichick's huddle with the team
According to Rappaport:
Brady, on Belichick's message late in game: "We're playing 60 minutes. I don't give a sh*t what the score is," Brady told WEEI.
I didnt want to start yet another spygate thread, but I do want to recommend Michael Lombardi's latest article: NFL.com news: Scandal aside, Broncos can't be so wishy-washy with McDaniels
It is mostly about the Broncos and McDaniels, but the last section is about stealing signals, he really...
Haha, Mike Ditka was just on Mike and Mike and asked about taping.. they asked him just how commonplace this kind of thing was in the league and you can tell they were expecting him to say that he never saw such a thing, but he just goes off about how his team used to do the same thing and its...
I'll wait on the edge of my seat for King to include in an article about the Colts actually attempting to cheat at the end of this game by simulating the snap count.
Anyone have video/photo of this play? Someone is trying to tell me that they were both 'jostling' each other for position. From my memory I thought the defender was wrapping up Branch before the ball got there.
I think the work the Football Outsiders did this year says it all. When looking beyond touchdowns and yards, and counting factors such as the stadiums/weather you play in and the defenses that you play against, the numbers tell a much different story.
Do you guys know of a good website that lists team penalties? Is it true the Colts offense has not been called for holding this year and the defense has not been called for interference?
Listening to Mike and Mike with Belichick coming up, they just mentioned that Jaws watched the game tape and totally agreed with Hoge's asessment. So imagine that, maybe 2 highlights didnt tell the whole story, M&M!
This is WRONG, people need to educate themselves and stop believing everything they hear on ESPN, which is perpetuating this myth.

I definitely saw it too. If only Brady could have jerked his head like Henne they might have called it, but he was trying to keep upright so he could see the play. Definite helmet to helmet.
Yeah, funny article and all, but this kind of thing isn't done about other teams. Like this wouldve made perfect sense to do after week 1 about Trent Edwards. I guess we're supposed to take it as a compliment, but it just keeps pissing me off more and more.
I dont see whats so funny. You have all these analysts, especially the ones on the Football Night in America set, who take every chance to bash the Patriots, and to say that this is about Brady being overprotected. Dungy said that these calls were directly because an overreaction to Brady being...
I love how ESPN immediately posted this story. Thought they had a rule against reporting on civil cases regarding criminal complaints? Oh I guess only for quarterbacks they like.
