  • Hello, Ian. I don't know if it's just me, but the site is working very badly at present on my computer (Chrome, MacBook). I think it's because of the tweets at the top. It's very slow, I can't scroll and there appear to be sounds trying to load that don't. Sorry if this is something I'm doing wrong.

Ian, I tweeted earlier today that the site was down. After I got your response, I rebooted my computer and all is well. Strange thing is that I was unable to get on using my iPhone over the WiFi in my house, but was able to do so after rebooting my computer. That is strange!

    Hey, Ian,
There was a category in the forum about someone losing all of their Super Bowl recordings when their DVR crashed. That got me thinking...I have the first three "Three Games To Glory" DVD. I'd be happy to give them up if someone would give you $50 or $100 to support your site. It's up to you if you'd like to take me up on the offer.

That's very thoughtful of you - but I'm not going to ask you to give those up for that - those are far too valuable :)

How do you post an article from a newspaper? Just quote a paragraph, and leave an URL? Or just an URL?

    Thank you. Tom444(Dave)
    Hi Ian,

I am a pats season ticket holder. Unfortunately, because of unforeseen expenses, I need to "sit out" next season (2015). I had someone who wanted to split the games but they backed out last minute. Can I post something? What is the best forum to use?

    Thanks,
    Robert
New forum's been in place a while now... looks great! My one feedback is the size of our profile sidebars creates a lot of whitespace in the messages. The previous Patsfans forum beat everyone else hands-down in the content-to-space ratio... (some forums felt like 80% signature pics and 20% one-line replies per page). I hope this reply makes sense!
    Hi Ian, nice board.

Be aware it was necessary for me (for some reason) to clear my patsfans cookie to be able to get into my account. There may be others with same problem.

Thanx for all your efforts, I'm giving you an additional donation as well.

    Hi Ian,
I posted a thread in the Draft Forum regarding a possible live draft discussion and based on some responses, I think it might be a popular exercise. A member mentioned an update coming and that it might be nice if it could be held here right on the site in the chatroom if it is working properly. I wanted to see if this would be possible to do here on the site. I was thinking a Sunday morning here in the States so that other members from other countries could participate on that Sunday evening. Please let me know if you think this is doable here on the site and if you are okay with something like this.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I just now noticed this message, so I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I'm working on a new chat function for this season that hopefully will be available in the next month or two. Just need some extra $$ to purchase the license to install it.

Hi Ian, a while ago there was a post on the website reddit about how reddit is losing money, and one of the ways to help out the site was to enable ads on there. I've been wondering, would it help PatsFans to generate some revenue by enabling ads on here? Because if it would, I can immediately enable ads on here.

    Cheers!

Ian I have been a member since 2005. I seldom post but read daily. For some reason my recent posts seem to only be visible to me? Was I put in the penalty box for something? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Ian. Thanks for the report of the Negative MRI on Brady's knee. Great news. Hey, I still haven't been able to get that video link (VIDEO: Tom Brady Leg Injury :Ian's New England Patriots Blog)you posted to work; I'm sure it's getting hammered with viewing requests.

I found a YouTube link that is pretty reliable if you want to post it for the others to see: Tom Brady's Knee Injury During Practice Drill Against Buccaneers - YouTube

Thanks for keeping us up to speed. PatsDog.
