The more physical team last night

I watched and listened with great interest last night during the ESPN pre game show when several of the talking heads said that the Texans would win becasue they are the more physical team. This just told me that these guys were paying more attention to the first 6 games of our season than to the last 6.

I think the Patriots are playing with a brand of physicality over the past couple of months that most people outside of New England are not aware of. I suspect we'll hear the same thing in the lead up to the 49ers. It will be all about their D and how physical they are. This part of the Pats game is definitely flying under the radar and I think that's a good thing. This Pats D is playing a tough nosed brand of football right now, as the Texans found out last night. We're more than capable of punching the 49ers right in the mouth on Sunday night. I love this kind of football!

On 98.5 they played Metallica's Enter the Sandman with clips of Brandon Spikes destroying people mixed it. It was absolutely great. When told of his nickname of the Sandman, Spikes supposedly said "I love it".

He is a beast as are Hightower, Ninko and Mayo. Wilfork, Love, Deaderick also bring the hammer and Jones is an athletic wonder. LOVE THIS D. Especially now with Talib and Dennard making plays at CB allowing McCourty to free lance at Safety.

Yeah ESPN was basically implying the Patriots were soft.

Well, it was another brilliant analysis from Tim Hasselbeck. The Pats haven't been a finesse team for a while. They have some thumpers.

Hasselbeck and Dilfer are two analysts I immediately gravitate toward for their excellent and prescient commentary. ;)

BTW, it was Dilfer, not Hasselbeck. Two guys who look kinda alike with the same mediocre analysis skills.
