Imagine how cool it would be during a disaster to never lose power, to have your entire house, and car as a power generator?

I honestly think this is the game changer in energy. This is a breakthrough.

IMO, every house should have a garden and should be self-sustained, lets get rid of power companies and oil companies!

Also UCLA UCLA researchers create highly transparent solar cells for windows that generate electricity / UCLA Newsroom

When we have three different universities with three different approaches, this kind of energy production will be less likely to be surpressed by the oil companies.

Counting the days 'till I can ride the 5 to LA on my magnetic hoverboard....

The garden is idea is great...but no so much for those living in colder climates like New England. Unless you have a mega freezer to store all your frozen veggies....and that would counter-productive to saving energy/being "Green".
