What it means is that we'll see a nauseating amount of Star Wars being cross promoted on ESPN from now on. They'll do what they always do: Pretend they're just being cool and making hip references to popular culture when in fact all they're doing is promoting another one of the endless line of products/shows/movies/comics/whatever that fall under the banner of the Mouse House.

Hahaha!

why do you hate Disney's success so much?

Good news on a few levels.

1) a personal and professional level for yours truly this is a good deal
2) George Lucas has already decided to donate half of his money to California schools
3) We might get a decent Star Wars movie

If you have time this is the greatest review of the pahantom menace ever created, its 7 parts, but its well worth your time

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Review (Part 1 of 7) - YouTube

give part 1 a viewing if you like laughter

I actually like Disney; going there this December. I just get irritated by the incessant cross promotion we see from the Disney family of networks. Why do you think PTI mentions "Dancing With the Stars" each and every time a new episode is being aired? It ain't because Kornheiser and Wilbon are such big fans, it's just a commercial for an ABC TV show disguised as commentary.

"Hey Tony, did you see Dancing With the Stars last week?"
"Oh boy, Michael, I sure did! And I can't wait to see tonight's episode!"

To me, Disney is a lot like Applesoft. I like their products, I just don't like their business practices.

I am a big fan of Red Letter Media and ya his reviews are not only hilarious, but they're actually very, very insightful about what makes a movie good and what makes a movie bad. You really do lose something when you make an entire movie on a closed sound stage, totally surrounded by green screen, with all the special effects thrown in later by some computer, like George Lucas did for the prequels (of course, the atrocious writing and directing certainly didn't help).

Red Letter Media did reviews for each of the SW prequels, Avatar, Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls and the Star Trek rebooted movie. If you liked the E1 review, you should check those out as well (but, like that E1 review you linked, be warned that each review is roughly 90 to 120 minutes, almost as long as the movies themselves).

Wow, picture Star Wars 7 with Disney's budget and 2015 CGI technology, that movie is going to look sweet.
