Olympics: LOVED seeing France upset in swim relay
That was one of the sweetest moments I've witnessed in all of sports, seeing the French defeated for the gold by our underdog guys in the 4 x 100 -- especially after predicting they would "smash" the Americans. One of my guilty pleasures in life is seeing arrogant Frenchies put in their place. :eat3::eat1::rocker::woohoo:

Two of our girls won in the swimming didn't they, well, one did, one came third or something. I only watch it when track and field starts.

As a college swim coach, I found it particularly exhilarating. Lezak's last 50 was INSANE. Once again the French found a way to snatch defeat out of the arms of victory (they were HEAVILY favored).

Funny. You'd think French men would be great "swimmers" not prone to choking. :D

Insane is correct. I knew the outcome after the fact, and when I watched this youtube of it, I kept saying "there is no way he wins this, he's too far behind". What a finish. That's what the French get for talking smack.
