Tax Foundation Report: Moocher State Electoral Votes: 95 Romney 5 Obama
Mitt Romney will probably get 95 electoral votes from ‘moocher’ states. Obama will probably get 5.
Wow! Just LOOK at that map! |

The problem with the map is that the entire populace of a state doesn't tend to vote for one candidate. Candidates get a percentage of a states voters. Does the map state who the non-income tax payers are going to vote for? That info would be more relevent.

They have those lower incomes/low cost of livings because they have lower (or no) state taxes, therefore crappier infrastructure and "colleges" that are nothing more than jock factories. You get what you pay for in life. There's a reason many of those Red States are the Pabst Blue Ribbons of the country. It is what it is. As a result, the map referred to shows CLEARLY that those states are the WELFARE QUEENS of the country. Ironic, huh, when you're complaining about "redistribution"? The RED STATES are the epitome of redistribution. |
