Haiti, one of the worst third world countries in regards to economics and natural resources has found gold. So, does the baby Dr. reapear, or who steps up to help this country to plan, develop and help its people.

The Haitian people will get f..ed on this as well, low paying mining jobs for all. While some American or European Company will extract it and it will leave the country for their coffers.

Someone needs to step up (you know, one of those Hollywood types) and help. A structured deal where a mandated % of revenue goes to infrastructure, schools, and hospitals. In addition, a % of Haitains need to be employed in management would be a good start.

Some of you are forgetting a critical part of this. Sure, an American or European country may well step in to relieve Haiti of its gold, but the Haitians will get their cut. Or rather, a few select Haitians, will get their cut.
