Federal tax refunds are being given to illegal aliens for children who don't live in the United States.

Illegal aliens are claiming tax deductions for their children...but the kicker is that the children their claiming don't live here!

But hey, it's only around $4 billion annually, so no need to be concerned about it.

#1. Illegal aliens should not be paying taxes in America because it's illegal to employ them.

#2. No one (esp. Illegals) should be able to claim children on a federal US tax form if those children aren't US citizens.

The real WTF thing here is how or why illegal aliens are filing taxes and getting refunds...not to mention how or why we do anything about it. Getting near the time to admit that the US borders have little to do with anything in the real world. It's become almost and abstract concept.

At this point, the cheapest, most realistic thing we can do is ignore the border and tell the Mexicans and Canadians to do the same in the spirit of NAFTA. Mexico can be the Las Vegas of the Western Hemisphers with legal drugs, hookers and casinos everywhere and Canada can be our dumps, oil fields and military bases and everyone will live in the middle. This is my new crusade!:rocker:

First, how do they know where the kids live? You don't enter that on tax forms, do you? Second, we do want to encourage illegals to pay taxes as long as they are here, so how would we write a law that distinguishes between citizens and illegals who have children living abroad? What about illegals with children who are citizens? To me this mostly seems like another example of racism by the white party, nothing more.
