I think a major Casino/Hotel/Spa resort is a little too invasive of the surrounding community.

I'm for it, but I don't live anywhere near Foxboro. I am sure if I lived in Foxboro, I would have a different perspective. Everyone is in favor of a casino in Massachusetts (ok, not everyone) as long as it isn't in their back yard.

It will save me on gas money as it's half the distance as Foxwoods or Moghegan Sun.

I make a yearly pilgimage to the Foxwoods to pay back the indians (25 cents at a time) for stealing their land. ;)

Can you really call it a casino when it wont be able to give away alcoholic drinks to patrons like just about every other casino.....yawn :)

My understanding is the NFL hates gambling. If that is the case I don't see this happening.

Apparently MA has a state law which forbids free drinks. The same law also covers "true" happy hours.

EDIT - Apparently the State Senate voted to remove that law. Sorry for the misinformation.
