As reported by the Herald, Brandon Spikes tweeted out that he was having his Pow Pow worked on today. His tweet:

The location of the Pow in question is not certain.

My guess is it is a minor scope type of surgery. He basically outplayed everyone on the defensive side of the ball in the Super Bowl. He didn't look like an injury was setting him back.

He needs it badly.

Word is that they were going to use Spikes in the snickers commercial a few years back, the one with Betty White playing football, but Betty was too quick for him, and he couldn't cover her.

There probably isn't a poster more disappointed in Spike's emergence than you. Still trashing him because you can't get over the fact that he turned into a quality player.
