Belichick golf partner at Pebble Beach was Nick Saban

...interesting obviously because there are 4 definite first rounders coming out of the draft from Bama this year.

Also lots of other SEC players he knows a lot about. I also read on a 'Bama board that Bill and Nick had dinner together the night before.

Hopefully he can get Saban to talk Hightower into staying on the board until they pick...............

Absolutely, what he thinks about LSU players he planned against.

Pros Cons of certain teams.

I love the draft and its small tidbits like this one that make a ton of sense 5 days after the draft.

Will this become some kind of scandal on sports talk radio??? He must have other work to do beside play golf on the West Coast.

Perhaps Florio can make this into some sort of scandal..

They're close friends and have been for a long time.

Always good to have close contacts in the college ranks..

BB has a close relationship with a few college coaches and he regards their inputs on players probably as much as he does the Patriot scouts...maybe even more...

Inside info is always nice to have, especially on the top picks and when picking later in the draft they may be able to point out some diamonds in the rough that can be either drafted late or signed as UDFA's....
