WSJ: Massey-Peabody Index
This graph shows the weekly performance of each team vs the league average. I found it very interesting to see how the Giants are all over the place, with one exception; they play great against the Packers. The Patriots on the other hand, graded out very consistently.

Final Massey-Peabody Ranking: 18th
They played below league average in eight of their 16 games, third-worst behind the Broncos (12) and Bengals (9). New York’s high-water mark occurred in a Week 13 home loss to the Packers, 38-35.

Final Massey-Peabody Ranking: 4th
The Patriots played only one negative game all season – a 24-20 loss at home Week 9 to the Giants.
