No surprise.
Edelman is an aggressive tackler, a decent blitz option, and physical at the line off the release but he isn't covering any decent NCAA wide receivers past five yards. Hopefully he can use it for motivation, but I think the coaching staff is asking a lot for Edelman to anything but sit in a zone and tackle the guy in front of him. Is Nate Jones that bad? |

Whilst I understand exactly where he;s coming from, he hasn;t exactly been the worst nickel corner in the league......
Worryingly though, he got picked on a little by Boldin in that final drive, despite having a relatively good game before that. However, Anquin Boldin is a damn sight better than Mario Manningham...and about 30 lbs heavier. Edelman was bound to be troubled by Boldin... Manningham won't be as hard. |

Surely when the Giants go 3 WR the Patriots would be using McCourty, Arrington & Moore?
