For those going to indy: Where are you watching the game?

Patriots.com lists the official Indy Fan Club's meeting place at The Stadium Tavern, right next to Lucas Oil Stadium (which can be shortened to LOS, or just "loss").

Does anyone else know any "Patriots" bars downtown?

Why the heck would anyone travel to Indy to watch the game in a bar?

Travel to Indy to see the game live, I get.

But I can walk to a sports bar with a big screen TV/

Hopefully at Lucas Oil Stadium. I'd hate to go to a dump like Indy just to watch it in some bar with a bunch of Colt fans. You might as well stay in NE and watch the SB at a friend's house or at a sports bar.

I have been to a Sb and I have been shut out of a SB and i had more fun not going than I did going, I also went home with over a grand in my pocket beecause I couldn't find a ticket.

Festivities start in ernest on Wed and reach a crescendo on Sat. From what I understand Indy is small enough that everything is within blocks of each other. Yeah, you can go watch any SB at Murphy's Pub, but what the hell! I took a long weekend, I'm driving out with my kids and some friends and staying at a relative's house for free. This is a no brainer, i will find a party downtown, watch the game with a bunch of Pats fans and be back at work on Tuesday.

So, if you don't want to go to Indy and have a good time, your choice, but until you actually do it you have no idea what it is all about.

If you say so.

Then again, I did have a friend in college who would go to the college tailgate parties before the game and then when everyone else headed into the game would head back to her dorm. She had zero interest in football, just like to drink beer in parking lots.

I guess this is similiar.

Im going to look for a spot on Wednesday.

The Tavern wants to charge a $100 to get in game day and $25 all other days. Surely they'll be a place just happy to have guaranteed business. Especially after the game because the Pats are going to win.

I wouldn't mind being in Indy after the Patriots win. Middle fingers and Manning face impressions all night! :D

In fairness - the $100 includes $25 of food/drinks and the other nights the entire $25 applies to food/drinks.
