OT: Boldin to Philly for Lito?
I know this has nothing to do with the Pats. However-IF this is true, then Samuel is going to have a HUGE burden on his hands now.

That would be an idiotic trade for the Cardinals. I'm sure they'll do it.

I guess I just think back to the Pats getting a first for Branch and imagine that the Cards should get a heckuva a lot more for Boldin. But I guess that has more to do with the Pats FO skills (and lack thereof in Seattle) than anything else ... |

If that trade happens, Assante will be exposed sooner than later LOL

And Boldin on Philly would, for me, make them the NFC East favorites. |
Re: OT: Boldin to Philly for Lito?
Making interceptions by jumping routes with backup safety coverage was Samuel's trademark. He was not a shut down corner who could be matched up against the opponents best wr. Remember the CB who covered Buress was an injured Hobbs not Samuel. Bottom line is that he took the money and ran, now the Eagles will find out how good a one on one cornerback he is when they blitz on every down.
