On Second Viewing: Gerard Warren = Beast Saturday Night

As I enjoyed watching this video, one thing popped out at me time and time again.

#98 keeps blowing away the OL time and time again deep into the backfield.

He was incredible.

Looks like he's been dining with the Wilforks.

This is what I want to see this Sunday. An aggressive DL playing with energy. With the players we have now, a 3-4 gap control defense, is not the way to go against the Ravens. With Spikes being the downhill run blitzer because we need to limit Rice and Williams YPC.

I think the Pats have been playing awesome in the 3-4 lately. Wilfork, Warren and Love have all been beasts. I think you'll see a good dose of it against Baltimore. Stopping Ray Rice is on the top of BB's checklist.

I said it before and I'll say it again the DL played a brutal game against a good Denver OL. That set the tone for the defense.

Brady's footwork looks fantastic right now.

Holy Mother! Through the excitement of the game, I didn't appreciate how outstanding our D played. Tebow was harrassed all night, the pocket was collapsing quicker than a deck of cards, McGahee had nowhere to go, even the secondary covered well. I loved their swagger, smashmouth attitude, and confidence. They bring that back to the field on Sunday and Baltimore offense is going to have fits!

Fantastic video! Thanks for posting.

The entire D line played fantastic. I thought Ellis had a big impact as well. Of course Wilfork and Love as usual. I would really like to see more of the same this week.. two in a row could be a nice trend to bring to the Super Bowl.
