The OFFICIAL Pats vs. Eagles Post Game Thread
Nice win. They made stops when they had to. The offense got it in gear early after the first series. They combined a good measure of running the ball with the pass, when needed. The run blocking wasn't nearly as good as it has been in the past, but it was sufficient enough.
The secondary just continues to get mauled.. Molden went out and didn't return. Ihedigbo did go out, but he returned. Edelman looks very solid out there as a CB. I think he's got the potential to be a very good slot corner.. |

Brady was pretty much on point all day today. The defense has been outstanding too, as of late. I'll gladly eat all the crow there is to be eaten relative to that subject. I didn't really think they would show significant improvement as the season wen on, but to play that well without the two best players in your secondary, as well as many other contributors is just fantastic. Hats off to Bill Belichick, that's a heck of a coaching job.

Not concerned about the yards today, I wanted the Pats to shutdown McCoy, we game planned for that, executed it brilliantly and blew out the Eagles.

It wouldn't surprise me if Edelman starts next season with a number in the 20s.
