Our LT situation and the weakening @ RT???

Light will be out for a long time imo. It looks like a High Ankle Sprain rather than knee. Does Solder Boy take LT? Vollmer looks like ***** at RT (probably his back injury). Is Cannon a viable RT option? I did not pay attention to him at RT. How did Cannon look as a fill in? Vollmer was getting OWNED last night.

SK,SK, SK, that is the type of statement that make people shake their heads.
How do you know he'll be out for a "long time"? How do you know he'll be out at all?
I'm a little fuzzy due to lack of sleep, but I thought he returned to the game shortly after he went out.

Rather than move the thread, I'll await to hear your insider information on Matt's medical condition.

Vollmer got beat bad by Hali (no slouch) on one of the sacks. The others came on a blown assignment on the left side of the line, and a coverage sack where Brady stepped up, held it a little too long, and got smacked in the back. I don't think Vollmer was anything special, but I don't think he was getting owned per se. The whole line looked lost early on and settled nicely in the second half.

I didn't realize he came back PNM

I know Connolly came back off and on... You positive Light came back on the field???

when an old dude gets hurt I tend to worry much more than a person with the same kind of injury that is 5-8 years younger.

I need proof Light was back

plz don'tmove the thread. You realize how the clandestine operations of the Patriot's never reveal anything. It's suffice to say that with Cannon activated, we might be able to shift Solder to LT. Vollmer and Cannon can Swing @ RT

I don't think that Light came back. In any case, there is no worry at OT with Solder and Vollmer starting, and with Cannon as our backup RT. I'd add an OL to the 53 man roster while Light is out.

The effect may be felt more at TE, unless Cannon can be our #3, blocking, TE. It was great to see 3 TE's and a pulling guard leading our running back to a first down.

Light did not return to the game and had a walking cast on leaving the stadium.

Tamba Hali is a Big Tiime Sack master that's what he' s being paid to do...no shame on Vollmer there, he's a good RT.

Vollmer hasn't played anywhere near as well as he did last year. He should have been a pro-bowler. I think Peter King had him on his all pro team and that includes NFC/AFC players. He's had a nagging back injury. He's missed a lot of practice time. Probably won't be as good as he was last year, but sucks to get hurt. Sure he'll be fine in the long run. We didn't throw the ball with Cannon at RT except a couple of short passes. Vereen got most of the yardage on his own. Marcus still has a long way to go to be as good as an injured Seabass.

Light didn't come back after getting hurt. Left the stadium in a walking boot. Solder can fill in for him this week. Tough assignment against Trent Cole if you're injured. Gonna suck that we can't use Solder as a tight end. Offense seems to click when we do that. Have to think long term though. Need Matt Light for the playoffs. Probably not wise to risk him this week.

And Ross Ventrone suddenly wishes he were about eight inches and 100 pounds heavier. . . . :p
