Same old talking points from the GOP candidates last night:

1). Cut taxes as that will help the "job creators"
2). Deregulate, deregulate, deregulate as that will help the "job creators"
3). Repeal Obamacare
4). Get rid of the student loan program*
5). Kill the Department of Education, Department of Energy and strip the EPA of funding
6). Let the banks foreclose on everyone

I forgot to mention 9-9-9 that Cain mentioned 40 times.

*Newt brought up the College of the Ozarks and how they have a work to pay for tuition program. I think that is great but not every College can be a Private, Presbyterian institution with an enrollment of 1,400.

Have to admit I felt bad for Perry last night. He is in way over his head.

Huntsman was once again the most articulate and knowledgeable of the candidates. I'm still puzzled why GOP voters don't give him the time of day.

Because he isnt Right enough for the Religious Right voting bloc that the "GOP" as it exists today has to embrace.

Even when he was pointedly told not to mention 9 - 9 -9 in his answer to the question, he managed to mention 9- 9- 9 in his answer.

Warned by moderator Jim Cramer not to mention 9-9-9 in his response, Cain said: “Many of the things we talked about up here today starts with growing the economy. And that’s why we have got to use a bold plan — I won’t mention it — in order to grow the economy.”
