Newsfeed addition to the pages
 

Any chance we can get that with the minimize option? It makes cycling down to the forum threads more tedious, particularly if you're doing it time and again.

I concur. With the literally hundreds of page views I give PatsFans a day, that times really adds up. And yes, I sadly think I'm being serious :lol2:

I've been looking at tweaking this but just haven't come up with a good solution yet. I added it to give people a feed for the latest news headlines for all the top sources, etc. to speed up the news delivery so that people didn't have to keep bouncing back and forth to a bunch of different places to get it. So far it's been used a lot judging by the logs, and it appears most people like being able to get the ESPN Boston, Herald, Globe, etc. feed right there for anything breaking, which we didn't have before. It's updated every couple of minutes, so at least the latest news is there and helps also point out some stuff from a couple other sites that people would have otherwise missed.

But those are good suggestions, so I'll see what I can come up with :)
