Rachael Ray is a terrorist!
 

Due to pressure from Fox News' Nichelle Malkin and others, Dunkin Donuts has pulled an ad featuring spokesperson Rachel Ray due to an offensive scarf.

Here's the story.


Does Dunkin’ Donuts really think its customers could mistake Rachael Ray for a terrorist sympathizer? The Canton-based company has abruptly canceled an ad in which the domestic diva wears a scarf that looks like a keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men.

Some observers, including ultra-conservative Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin, were so incensed by the ad that there was even talk of a Dunkin’ Donuts boycott.

‘‘The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad,’’ Malkin yowls in her syndicated column.

‘‘Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant and not-so-ignorant fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.’’

The company at first pooh-poohed the complaints, claiming the black-and-white wrap was not a keffiyeh. But the right-wing drumbeat on the blogosphere continued and by yesterday, Dunkin’ Donuts decided it’d be easier just to yank the ad.

Anything, and I mean anything, that get's that flat chested, fat little porker, off my TV, is a blessing! My goodness is that woman one of the most annoying little pizzants on TV. Her voice, and absolutely awful commercials, are unbearable. :D

words cannot express how stupid this story is. A Keffiyeh is not a "terrorist" head scarf. It's a Palestinian headscarf. People who think there's no difference there should be forced to listen to John Ashcroft's rendition of "Let the Eagle Soar" for the rest of their natural lives.

I don't give a flying **** about Rachel Ray (whoever that is, I seriously don't even know), but the notion that the commercial should be pulled because she wears something that almost looks like something that ignorant Americans associate with terrorism truly makes me think that "Hitler had the right idea, he was just an underachiever."

Rachel...baby got BACK!

Before she was friggin everywhere, back when she just had one show on Food and one or two cookbooks, I liked her. Now...she becomes more annoying by the hour. OTOH she got drunk at a party and called Oprah a stuck up *****...so that's bonus points.

Only on this board does the absurdity of banning Rachel Rae because of a head scarf, degenerate to her ass and then a bashing of Oprah.. unf...ingbelievable.. and quite a stretch.
