Beaking News: NFL says Walsh tapes "Made of Glass"

NEW YORK (AP)--The commisioner of the National Football League, Roger Goodell, has announced that the tapes that have been forwarded to the league by Matt Walsh, the former patriots video assistant, are "made of glass," a characterisation that has left many longtime league observers scratching their heads. "It's just a weird thing to say," said one highly- placed source. "Irrelevant, o.k., insubstantial, that's also a word that has meaning. But 'made of glass?' What does that even mean? I think it means the Patriots will be exonerfied very soon, but I don't know."

Is this a joke? If not, it just reveals how much of a moron Goodell is, and his faulty reasoning ability.

No. This is not a joke.

Maybe Goodell dropped the tapes accidentally and they shattered. Now, he's trying to explain why these tapes were destroyed by the league.

(It's weak, I know, but it was the first thing that came to mind. Certainly an odd phrase to use.)

This bozo is the most inarticulate marble mouth since Boston's Mayor "Mumbles" Menino

(I think I fell for a hoax)

I'm guessing he means he's going to make sure the tapes are handled with care?

Great parody.

Of course it could be improved my not misspelling: commissioner, characterization, and exonerated. Spelling errors are killers at giving away fake news stories. You can get way with grammar errors but not spelling.

Can someone with a really solid legal background research the US Consitution and "find" a special clause that allows a violent overthrow of the NFL commissioner in the event the sitting commish is found to be clinically insane?

Seriously he needs to be removed from this position NOW before he somehow finds a way to get us all killed:eek:!

I could improve "my not" making spelling errors, but I can get "way with" grammar ones? Hmmmmm. Definitely something to think about.

Are you the jerk who gave my thread a one star rating?
