How the Jets lost the #3 pick in this year's draft
Just a funny reminder to some who don't notice the minutiae of the NFL draft - but it's kindof funny to remind ones self that if not for the Patriots 16-0 season, the Jets could easilly have been picking #3 in the draft - and earlier in all the subsequent rounds as well.
The Jets had just a slightly better strength of schedule than their fellow 4-12 teams. Credit the Patriots perfect regular season for pushing them from #3 to #6 given the fact that a Patriots loss or two would tip the .007 strength of schedule balance in the Jets favor, lowering their SoS and possibly improving one of their 4-12 rivals. of course, without MangIdiot, Spygate never happens (or at least other coaches go and talk to the Commissioner first, not the media)... and without Spygate the rest of the football world doesn't "question the validity" of the Patriots previous Super Bowls, thereby rallying Brady and the rest of the team to answer those questions and defend their honor by going 16-0 So while MangIdiot might be cursing the Patriots for giving him the #6 pick instead of the #3 pick, ultimately he’s got no one to blame but himself. |

LOL kind of funny and true.
Obviously it's too early to tell but from what I've heard it sounds like the JETS may have ended up with the biggest bust of the draft. |
