2008 Draft Discussion Thread
Put all your draft talk/smack here!!
Well I think with Chris Long gone at 2. The Falcons might take Dorsey or Ryan at #3. Look for the Ravens to try to move up aggressively for Matt Ryan now. Only question is, can they talk the Falcons out of it? |
Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
Ryan it is.

Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
A direct quote from the ESPN Radio broadcast, as the commissioner walks to the podium with Atlanta's pick:
"Here comes, in a blue blazer, the fashionable, likable Roger Gooddell." WTF? |
Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
LOL. Fashionable and likeable? He would be tarred and feathered in New England. :D

Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
you don't have a team until you get a QB.
Falcons make a wise decision. things are not shaping up well for a Patriot trade down. Oakland either needs to take Ellis or trade out here. Its unlikely. |
Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
This could be a terrific trade-down scenario for Oakland with Dorsey on the board. They're short on picks.
|
Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
Instead Oakland takes the most explosive offensive player in the draft. Talentwise, this is the right pick, but Oakland has a LOT Of needs. They could have traded back and gotten more picks imo.

Re: 2008 Draft Discussion Thread
Well, with Russell at QB I guess you need all the running backs you can get.
