Flip things around: what don't you want at 7

I would be happy with anything except QB, DE, TE or safety. obviously no kicker or punter.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of drafting an offensive lineman that high. I think it's an area we should definitely look into later on for depth purposes, but not at 7. I feel the same way about the defensive line.

Basically if a "fat guy" is the first pick, I would be disappointed.

QB, RB, WR, TE, C, G, K, P, CB, S

If the Pats trade down G (and only Albert), CB, and S fall off the list.

There are some good cornerbacks later on in the draft (2-3) and I'd personally rahter go elsewhere at 7.

First, to eliminate by position:

QB
RB
TE
C
G
WR
S
CB

Now by the individuals at the top:

Gholston
Ellis
Albert (risers of this sort make me very wary)

I guess it all boils down to me looking at #7 and thinking that I'd want to see Long, Long, Dorsey or Clady taken if New England stays at that spot and one of them is available. Of course, this front office has proven that it is more than deserving of the benefit of the doubt on a first round pick no matter who they choose.

Definitely not Oline. I think we can find help there later in the draft. Lets not forget, the Oline was never really a problem until the superbowl and we only lost that game because of two miraculous plays on the last drive.(Sorry to bring it back up).

Obviously no QB, RB seems set, TE way to early.

I would be extremely happy with an ALL Defensive Draft. The O is fine with me.
