Easterbrook: Belichick, Pats still being punished by football gods for Spygate
 

Comcast cronie Gregg Easterbrook goes back to the spygate well in search of some web hits for about the 10,000th time.

Aside from such a ludicrous theory (football gods determine outcome of games? Really?) the whole basis of his piece is factually incorrect. Easterbrook claims the Pats have not won a playoff game since spygate (not only wrong once, but twice) and it is because Belichick and the Patriots never apologized for the video taping incident (wrong once again; they both apologized to members of the 31 other teams at the NFL meeting following that season).

I'm not going to provide the original link because that would give Easterbrook exactly what he is looking for - more page views. Instead, here's a summary from NESN's Michael Hurley:

Agree, I read that yesterday and I didnt want to give him the attention he craves. He gets off on tweaking Pats fans, he knows its good for hits to his site.
