Justin Hartwig could add some nice depth to the OL

Carolina released thier veteran center who has been known to have played a little bit at Right Guard as well - The Panthers want to see what Ryan Kalil has.

With that said,Would you want to see this veteran center on the team who can be versatile enough for our weak situation at depth at RT?

I think his asking $$$ would be reasonable - He did miss most of the season last year with a ankle injury.

Might also be some nice depth at C if Koppen gets injured.

It was obvious in the SB that Hochstein is not a viable alternative at RG. Yates and Connolly probably aren't, either. Neal's replacement may be needed sooner rather than later, so I have a feeling that an OG might be drafted this year. I hope the FO has better luck finding a quality OLman in the draft than it did last year. In the meantime, I too would like to see a vet C/G signed; if not as a starting RG, then at least as a more viable alternative than what is currently on the roster.

Some other possibilities:
Larry Allen
Cosey Coleman
Rick DeMulling
Adrian Jones
Chris Liwienski
Seth McKinney
Chris Naeole
Mike Pucillo
Barry Stokes
Chris Villarrial
Fred Weary
Floyd Womack

Centers who maybe could play guard:
Jeremy Newberry
Matt Lehr
Mike Flanagan
John Wade

Tackles who could move Kaczur to RG:
Shane Olivea
LJ Shelton
Tom Ashworth
Nate Dorsey
John Welbourn

I'm not really interested in having to support someone who turned in his beautifully tempermented young rottweiler brothers into a Charlotte shelter who were a day away from dying to be added to the Patriots.

dont want him either, but i could personally care less about that. i dont want him for the fact he isnt that much of an upgrade over hochstein at C.

I imagine there isn't a link... I found out they were his after signing the adoption papers... Rescues will do that so you don't get the wrong type of people wanting a previous "celebrity" dog. (ie- M. Vick's pitbulls) Pics of him are in my sig, the first month with me... He's a great dog, full of himself, super friendly but had no training so I had to start with the basics... He is going to be introduced to sheep soon to see if his herding instincts kick in...

This is true, especially since I had to go to the Panthers website to see who he was months ago to "see" the man who turned over 2 beautiful young rottweilers into a kill shelter since I had never heard of him.
