Pre-Paid parking

Just got an email from the patriots about pre-paid parking for season ticket holders.
Would you be interested in such service if the perks were right, I know they can't make it faster to get in or out but mabe parking close to the stadium, reserved spots, mabe larger spots for tailgating?

Just another way for the pats to milk us out of our money.

You pay for parking either way.....How are they milking you anymore by allowing you to pre-pay.

They would get the $ upfront. It would also be taking away from the private lots.

For the same reason you would "allow" your boss to prepay you, I guess :) There had better be a good benefit out of this to do it, otherwise you're helping the Kraft's cashflow and hurting yours.

The benifit to the Krafts is they get the money for parking sooner and can invest it. But I am not sure where it hurts you the consumer. So you shell out your 400 for parking in a one time few instead 40$ 10 times. We are not talking some huge some of money that you would make tons off if you had it a few extra weeks. And don't give me the crap about some can't afford to shell out 400 at one time easily because if you can't maybe buying football tickets isnt the best way to spend your money.

I do agree that we as fans really have nothing to gain but who really cares if the Patriots take your money one way or the other.

Now if you want to complain that 40 dollars is ridiculous that is different.

I wonder how much the new mall has to do with them trying to do this.

With respect to interest of other methods of investing it, you are correct. However I prefer to manage my cashflow by getting money as quickly as possible and keeping it as long as possible . . . that's why I always owe on my taxes too :D

For what they charge for tickets, they should be providing free parking.

Re: Pre-Paid parking

My guess is only prepaid accounts will eventually have access to the stadium side lots (P-2, P-7, P-8), once all 80 planned stores are opened.

I answered the survey as a 'maybe', but after thinking about it, i should have said 'no'. I'd never prepay for all 10 games since i do not go to both preseason games. It's difficult to even sell the tix to those games at half price. I don't want to add to my loss by giving away the parking too.

Next year I'll take advantage of an offer a friend made me, to park and tailgate for free at his place. It's about 1.5mls away, but so are many of the spots in P-10.

I'm also toying with the idea of moving to Foxboro and take advantage of the lot next to the field house, reserved for residents. Between the location and the ability to use the suite-holders entrance & exit would almost make it worthwhile to prepay.

My Father moved us to Foxboro for the Access (a few other non football reseasons too). It was the best move we ever made. We park real close to the Stadium, it is a 3 1/2 mile comute to the stadium with little to no traffic. It makes it so easy to go to training camp too, any boring day just shoot down for a few hours, I go to like 10 or so practices each year now.

You do have to pre-pay for your parking though (including Pre-season) :D.
