What have we learned in the past 48 hours?

Not to trust any media outlet...Seriously...all this talk about Moss calling Culpepper to him entertaining the thought of going to green bay with favre...ALL was speculation and had no truth whatsoever. Comes to find out that Moss and the Pats have been close all along and were just figuring out how much guaranteed money he would be getting...Where have all the good journalists gone? I believe Reiss was the only one who stood his ground and did not speculate anything...He is truly the finest pats beat writer out there...It's free agency season, can't trust anything guys till its signed, sealed, and delivered...

You're just now learning this? I was pretty sure that was common knowledge ever since the sports media existed. I could go down the list of identical situations, but I don't have all day. Their concerned with filling airtime and getting you to watch/read. That's their job. It is what it is.

Oh, I am aware...as a Bostonian, you HAVE to be aware of such a media blitz, if not, you have been brain dead for years...But people begin to panic...The age of true journalism is gone, replaced with people just breaking false news to either get a quick buck or get their name out there (ie Tomase)...oh well

Yup. What we've really learned then is that WE have to calm down and take their junk with a grain of salt. That's what I do anyways.

What have we learned? That Tom Brady is being traded to make room for Daunte Culpepper so that those two could be reunited...

Seriously, though, I do agree that - if you hadn't already realized - most of these rumours come from nowhere and are just to fill headlines and make stories.
