New D Line additions help OLine
Pardon my naiveté in advance regarding this post, but as a layman, armchair QB that I am...I'm looking at our previous years production and outcomes...
I understand the idea of upgrading the DLine and getting a better pass rush if you want to use the 4-3 more.
The depth allows you to have competition...rotate lines etc.
BUT IN THE PATS CASE....I wonder if this also hugely benefits our OLine.
Since we had a pretty average pass rush....how do you prepare against teams that do in a conventional fashion? I think that may have hurt us....elaborate stunts and blitz's that some other teams run...
So I guess I wonder if all this emphasis on pass rushers has that expanded benefit.
