Fish: Specter irked by uncooperative Pats, league in Spygate probe [merged]
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3259486
From the article: --Walsh does NOT have a confidentiality agreement with the Patriots or anything else that would prevent his cooperation, though I assume that does not include stolen property. --Specter wants to talk to BB and Ernie Adams, but says he has been stonewalled. The Pats attorney told Specter that "it's a league matter," basically that Specter has no business investigating this. --The JETS have also denied permission for their people to speak to Specter. I'm sure they don't want their people under oath about their taping practices. I liked that one, though I suspect it will not be reported. --Damon Huard would not talk to Specter, who called him, but Huard did not believe it was actually Specter. --Specter seemed to take offense that there were "notes." Why would there not be notes? |

That's nothing but a big F You to Specter. The league is closing ranks.

Yeah I hope BB and Ernie Adams talk to him...and they both tell him to **** off. |
Re: Mike Fish article, espn.com
This is a very telling quote: "Originally, we were only told about videos, and they only went back a half-dozen games in '06."
This was NEVER said. It was always reported as 6 tapes. This shows just how much of a boob we are dealing with. Just because he assumed six tapes equals six videos, we have to deal with his crap some more. Hell, we have tapes at work that can hold 200 gig of data. I don't know how many gig a game would take up, but I am guessing 3 at best, and that is in HD. |

I love it I love it I love it. Sphincter must be starting to realize he's barking up the wrong tree. I just love the entire league, including teams that were "violated" telling him to go stick it...

Re: Mike Fish article, espn.com
At this point I think the lame duck needs mental health help. Maybe he's developing altzheimers or senile denentia, they get belligerent and a tad paranoid as well as easily confused. Either he didn't pay attention at the time the story broke and the penalty was handed down, but Goodell always said there were 6 tapes dating back to 2006, but the notes went all the way back to 2000 and were provided as requested and destroyed because they existed and could have been based on tape - BECAUSE BB ADMITTED HE HAD BEEN DOING THIS SINCE 2000.
Term limits, in the congress and on the competition commitee. That is what this country and this league really need, Senator. Love how they buried the one salient fact in this story midway through this drivel. HE NEVER HAD A CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT, another lie for Matt. |
