I thought last year was going to be a rough ride. This schedule is the hardest I have ever seen for the PATS in quite some time:eek: |
Re: Predict the Patriot Record
the best part of the Schedule is the BYE WEEK in Week 7:o
i'll give my input soon enough I just copy pasted |
Re: Predict the Patriot Record
I am going13-3 quick glance we had a hell of a yr last year. Miami can be defeated at their Lolphin stadium I like our WR/TE corps, but a lot hinders of FA'cy. If we pick up a significant body I will most definately need to amend
Asking for another 14-2 would be wrong. How many of these teams have new QB's and or coaches? I think it matters early on... Still plz let me know The Giant and Philly games were tough to analyze. I went win heavy and hope that I am right :) 12-4 was the safe line... I am still going 13-3 for now. why am I so win heavy??? b/c last year I thought we would struggle barely going 10-6/ 9-7 and went 14-2. We are 1 of the most experienced teams coming into this year. Our QB and Coach are the best. I love our Trip Tight Ends and still think other teams will struggle against this O. My biggest flaw is not factoring in injury I never like to think of significant injuries so i exclude the possible happening. I think our D will be improved and RAS will be an impact player @ CB. |
Re: Predict the Patriot Record
free agency hasn't even started, what's the point? Teams will be completely different after they sign and release players.

Re: Predict the Patriot Record
too early for me to predict. i'll hold off until we see what the pats and others, esp in the division, do in FA and then see how things come together across the league in Training Camps.

Quote:
Week 1: Win Week 2: Win Week 3: Win Week 4: Win Week 5: Win Week 6: Win Week 7: Bye Week 8:Win Week 9: Win Week 10: Loss (@ Jets) Week 11: Win Week 12: Loss (I envision Mike Vick going nuts on our D. Frustrating day I predict) Week 13: Win Week 14: Win Week 15: Loss (Sloppy game of season @ Mile High. Tebow makes some lucky BS plays) Week 16: Win Week 17: Win Pats start out 8-0 in impressive fashion, fans speculate if they can really go 16-0 again, Brady on fire, Jets take a piss on that parade on Sunday night at home, pats fall to 8-1. Pats lose in a high scoring game to the Eagles, if they are big players in FA they could be the #1 seed in the NFC. A sloppy loss @ Mile High. Pats finish 13-3 with #1 seed. :) |
Re: Predict the Patriot Record
Until proven otherwise, 16-0
Then 15-1 etc. |
Re: Predict the Patriot Record
Without even knowing what the team even looks like but hoping the running game is better so Brady isnt left doing everything. I'll predict a 14-2 with losses to the Jets (as usual) and another strange loss to the Raiders, just cause sh** happens at least once a season.

Re: Predict the Patriot Record
11-5
Key player gets hurt this year |
Re: Predict the Patriot Record
As a shot in the dark, hmmmm...12-4.
Any more wins than that are gravy. Bear in mind that last season we had the benefit of an offense that was changing during the season. Usually teams enter a season and gradually defensive coordinators accumulate enough game film to figure out the best approach to defend a given offense. Last year, we changed our offense much more than normal by jettisoning Moss, acquiring Branch, losing Faulk, picking up Woodhead, and using our TE's more. Opposing defenses were caught with their pants down. Game film from say week 1 of the season offered little for D-coordinators to glean. And that's not to detract from the fact that we had a good offense, but it certainly helped having that midseason element of surprise--a morphing offense. I don't think we can expect such a pronounced change again. |
