Wright's Value
http://www.boston.com/sports/footbal..._the_wrig.html
Any thoughts on what tender that Pats should put on him? I thought last year (2006) he was really breaking out and would see a lot more playing time in 2007, but he was mostly quiet until going on to IR. Looks like either the minimum or second round at best. |
Re: Wright's Value
I agree with Reiss, there's no point in giving him the low tender so you lose him for nothing. Give him the second round tender - there's a high liklihood you keep him then and if you don't it's a second round pick for a guy at a position where we have a lot of depth.

Re: Wright's Value
Moore will get either a 2nd or 3rd level tender (requiring a 2nd or a 1st)
I believe that Moore is also an RFA. |

I hope wright comes back as he is a really good STer and a solid Back up at all dline positions.... |

I say tender Wright at the 1.41 level, otherwise we will lose him and get zip in return for sure. We missed Wright a lot in the playoffs as he is needed in the rotation. |

maybe you tender neither and bring back the one that makes it thru and save a few bucks |
