Sounds like he punted to the Righties, and if they do not agree then they become the villians..

My sister, from Minnesota, called last night as things are heating up there as at least 70 vendors for the state fair have not been licensed yet, miller and coors cannot sell beer and many taverns and liquor stores can no longer sell liquor because there is not way to renew licenses. .

Neither side can claim a win with this budget as the only thing they did was create more debt.

Quote:

The deal raises the revenue Dayton sought -- $1.4 billion -- but without raising taxes, which Republicans opposed. Instead, it reaches back to an earlier GOP offer to rely primarily on more borrowing from schools and from the sale of tobacco bonds. The House and Senate could return in special session to vote on a final budget as early as Monday or Tuesday.
Quote:

The $35.5 billion two-year budget deal would cause the state to double down on short-term financial shifts that could make it even more difficult for Minnesota to right its ledger in coming years.

For example, the state will end up owing a record $2.1 billion to K-12 schools with no method laid out yet for paying that money back.

Last week, the national firm Fitch Ratings downgraded the state's credit rating over the use of these types of stopgaps and warned against similar one-time accounting tricks.

What you really meant to write was that the wealthy of MN win, while everyone else loses.

So typical that cons would declare victory after the first 3-and-out.

Absolutely nothing was decided. All they did was kick the can down the road, and neither side won jack ****. This will come back, ever more dire, in the next cycle.

At which time, conservative drones will continue to bargain dishonestly, and in contempt for anyone making less than 50K.
