on July 4th, the DOJ was trying to keep him from testifying, he went in with his lawyer on July 4th before Issa. Testimony is supposed to be explosive. Melson decides not to be the fall guy.

If you only read one POV on this, then you might believe your premise that seems to originate from right wing blogs..

Issa is an interesting character to say the least.. his past is a tad checkered.

And he rants and raves about corruption... he does have first hand experience about the justice system.. This is from Wikipedia, which has since been scrubbed by the rumpswabs of the right.

Issa isn't the issue mr deflection the killing of innocent civilians, arming mexican drug gangs and lying about it is the issue.
