Because the FBI figures people like Harry who obsess ad-infinitum on Muslims can only handle one irrational terrorist based fear at a time and don't want to overload them by giving them white Christian people to worry about when they've so obviously invested their all in fearing Muslims and the occasional illegal Hispanic immigrant.

The thought process of the right is as follows..

Weiner Screwing Up... therefore make a huge deal out of it, while ignoring David the Diaper Man and Ensign.

Then some righty spends some time googling Weiner and this Tribuine article comes up, therefore it must be part of some left wing conspiracy, even though there is no evidence of such. There is no evidence of linking it to anything at all.. but for the so called constitution lovers(aka the judge and jury crowd), just jump to conclusions and make word connections.. ergo the left did something bad.

Where is Breitbart, there has to be something here... send in O'Keefe..

Calling them "left wing" isn't all that far-fetched based on what this article tells us - they're in Chicago, they're "peace activists and politically active labor organizers," they're "public nonviolent activists with long, distinguished careers in public service, including teachers, union organizers and antiwar and community leaders," they're most likely Jewish (based on the names given and nothing more) and hey, so what if many of them are making unexplained trips to Columbia and Palestine.
