So I heard about this story last year and just came across it again. Anyone who has the ability to pour acid on a children's playground should be executed.

You can bet that if (when) this absolute dirt bag is caught, the ACLU will defend him. They will say he can't help it because he's just "sick". As much as I am against the death penalty because it prevents the opportunity for repentance and restoration, some people are better off being put down before they can cause any more harm. Anybody sick enough to do something like this is almost certainly too far gone for redemption in this life-time. Drop him off in the upper reaches of Alaska, 500 miles from any other living souls. Let him live there as long as he can with a book of matches and the clothes on his back.
