unlike others, giants aren't making excuses for losing already

give them credit, (unlike other teams) for the most part theyre not taking the bait and calling us "dirty players." both strahan and that other guy whos name i cant spell both said "football is a rough physical game and we're dirty too." mentally at least they're a better team than most we've faced

True. But they think they won and that's pretty weird.

I actually prefer it to the litany of excuses ahead of time.
Shows confidence. You have to play these Patriots confidently or you've lost before the Opening Kickoff. I think the Eagles were the best example of this.

They've already lost and they know it, it's beyond pre-emptive excuse making. They will be happy to keep it close, just like they were a month ago.

They may not be making excuses but they sure are making stupid comments, the latest being Burress's remarks that the Giants' receivers are better than the Pats.

What about Burress claiming they would have perform better if they had Brady?

being honest, as a pats fan i feel better when the opponents start calling us dirty and take cheap shots about spygate in the pre-game runup. tells me they're already resigned to losing and they're looking for excuses. im taking giants more seriously since theyre not going there

That's just a fact.
