Path to Championship

CBS now. It looks very good. Lots of intimate sideline footage and that kind of thing. NFL-network like production quality in game coverage.

Yeah it's just like the "America's Game DVD. Even have Selleck narrating.

I'm glad they pointed out that horrible officiating on the holding call. Even NFLs head of officiating said he thought the call sucked (though he didn't say it in those words, he said, he thought there was holding on that play, but it wasn't as clear with number 32).

I bet behind the scenes, the ref who made that call was torn a new one.

THey don't make any money being refs really. Less than 50k. How many of them have shaved points?

I thought they said the official who lost a game check a few weeks ago lost 8K. that works out to 128K a year plus whatever they make for preseason and postseason. And he wasn't even the head offical.

So they do seem to make good money. And they all have other jobs. So most likely only greed, not financial pressure, would make a ref pull a Donaghy

Says who? I believe they make $8,000 a game or more. That's over $120,000 a year for a part-time job.

At $120K a year that would be my full time job :)

Boy I know I seen some of the Belichick miked bits, but the game against the Giants was classic... Cassel go out there and get me that ball... I love this team....
