OT: Ravens hire John Harbaugh as their new HC

Seems like a little bit of a head scratcher to me...

Harbaugh previously worked for the eagles as their DB coach.

No, John Harbaugh, Jim's brother. The Wiki page I listed gives you all the info about his coaching career.

Brother of Jim Harbaugh.

And I think the Ravens would have been better off hiring Jim.

Hell, he somehow found a way for Stanford to beat USC.... He's gotta have something.

That's who Michigan should have hired instead of Rodriguez. Should have brought him back home, dang it. Idiots. Sorry, I digress...

just saying--maybe they confused the two--as Jim seems like a more logical choice

Ha, it would be funny if the Ravens confused John for Jim, lol. In any case, they hired John Harbaugh, the Eagles former DB coach. Look him up in the news section of google, and you'll see he already had one or two meetings with the Ravens.

I was reading this morning that John was very high on a bunch of GM's lists - he's not well known but, evidently, is liked inside the league.

now if they had poached Jim Johnson from Philly--that might have been a coup

but we shall see--at least it is new blood instead of the same garbage being recirculated like norv turner
